Hello All,

Currently registered for the FF Program in July last year, and started flying through work in March this year.

Did a US trip that earnt me 135 SC's which is what im currently on, and have another US trip booked in for may that will earn me another 115 SC's, bringing me to a total of 250 SC's.

I reset on July 1 but as I will be doing alot of work trips from now onwards and therefore would like to atleast hit silver for the next 12 month period. This leaves me 50 Sc's short.

My only real plan between now and then outside of work is to do a BNE -> MELB trip but that will only do 30 SC's for me.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get 50 SC's by incorporating a bris to melb trip or if not, possibly the cheapest way to earn 20 SC's?

I only currently have 18k points.

Cheers

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Your best bet is to look at doing the extra SCs in the LOTFAP, others versed in this opportunity will no doubt chip in with some ideas. On another note, we are getting close to the annual double SC promo that QF have done the last two years, so it might pay to see what comes through over April in case they decide to incent you !

From browsing the forums I had noticed that there was often April promotions. I might hang on a few weeks before booking.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is LOTFAP?

I can see BNE-ROK for about $90 one way, but when it is via McKay it shows me $284 or thereabouts - what am I missing? Not going to do the flight as I am in Sydney but keen to learn. Thanks!

My internal bias would be to do a west coast run, say BNE-PER-MEL-BNE. This'll net you 50SC on the nose, and I dare say you can have more fun doing it. You can book it as a multi-city in Y-, plus who doesn't love coming to PER.

Just a warning however, lookin at the fare charts for APR 2011 there are some very expensive days coming up for QF flights departing PER. If considering that month, either do it before 19 APR or after 27 APR.

Its BNE-MKY, which is often $90 via ROK when they have a QF link sale on.
