Just recently my Dad flew LHR-MEL-LHR in EK F but booked through Qantas. Filled out the Chauffeur drive details as normal, but somehow they managed to mix up details on 3 out of the 4 bookings. Arriving into MEL they ignored the postcode listed and thought he wanted to be dropped off in Middle Park (street name close but not the same as the one he wanted to go to), the driver almost didn't take him because it wasn't what was listed. Pickup in Melbourne was correct but the driver (who my Dad has had before so they also do QF pickups) said they are not paid the tolls so took a route to MEL airport without using Citylink, with no apology but a "Oh I'm not paid for tolls". Upon arrival into Heathrow he went to the EK pickup station and they wanted to take him to a postcode starting with N, except we live in a postcode starting with S.

Has anyone else had issues with the service like this before? Or could it be down to how QF book the EK chauffeur drive?

Did he book the CD through the QF or EK site?

When booking QF coded EK flights in the past, I have always selected my seat and booked CD using the EK site and never had an issue. I started initially doing this as I found my seat selections weren’t sticking when allocating using QF site.

Same and I have always been notified by call or text by the company or driver the day before for confirmation.

QF website. Pickups were never an issue so the calls the day before didn’t show any issues, it was only the transfer from the airport they had incorrect address details

I've had problems with QF CD in SYD - being told to take a taxi when they were busy due to weather issues - and LHR - double-booking me and mixing up bookings.

One time I discovered the mix up when we were leaving the parking garage and the driver asked me if I had a particular route I wanted to take. He couldn't understand why I just wanted to go straight down the M4, but eventually we realised he had been given an address in a completely different direction. Rather than just taking me there, though, he had to organise a swap over with other lady who was actually going to the address he had, and I got the other driver.
