Has anyone ever asked QF the question or has this been done?

It could open up lots of options for SC runs to get to or keep a Status level?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Sorry to rain on your parade again but this is another fairly frequent question with another negative response. Has been tried and declined by more than one poster on AFF.

The only way it happens is when an account is made Partner Gold and the anniversary date is aligned with the Platinum account that is gifting the Partner Gold status. Or perhaps when taking out a Qantas Club membership on an Bronze or Silver account.

Buying QP membership keeps the date the same, all that happens is that an extra date is added to the account (i.e the date the QP membership expires).

Apart from Partner Gold, the only way you can change is I would imagine is to open a new account!

You I know two John Smiths. John A Smith and John Smith. John joined the QFF program around the time that John A stopped flying. It coincided with a period of travel for John that get him to WP when if John A had done the same travel would have spanned two membership years. John resided overseas but returned to Australia and in a strange coincidence bought John A's house.

And I assume also managed to perform a family transfer for the points John A had in his account when he stopped flying into the account of his relative John Smith ;)

And if you haven't got a middle name?
