During our stop over in LAX a few days ago we were told that since we had flown out four weeks prior they had changed the internet service in the Admirals Clubs.

There is now free wireless internet at any time of the day anywhere in the Club.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is good stuff!

So no more daily passes? How does the new system work?

When I was in the ORD Admirals Club back in September, it was also free and didn't require a pass.

I guess its slowly being rolled out to other locations...

Boot up your computer, go to settings and choose AT&T - connect, open your browser which should bring up the 'agree to conditions' page. accept the conditions and 'Bob's your Uncle.'

Simple as that. :) :)

Drat. Some more useless cards to find in a future cleanup.:D

Maybe it's just in some of the Clubs. When I had stop over in ORD Dec 4th enroute to LAX to BNE there was no free internet but can't remember which terminal etc; I was in.

Hope it is going through all the Admirals Club. I'm sure it helps that the new head of AA was formerly with AT&T. :)

Oh that's *too* easy :D

(Also now need to find and dispose of some of the "scratch'n'win free Internet Access" cards sitting around).

If they are T-Mobile cards, don't dump them. T-Mobile have 'hotspots' throughout USA, so they would still be of value to you. :) :)

On my flights back to Oz on Nov 18 last year, this was operational in ATL AC and LAX T4 Flagship lounge. It was not yet operational at DFW Terminal C. The AAngel in the Flagship lounge told me it had just changed in the days prior. When I was there on 11/11, I needed the scratch card for wireless.

The AA cards typically don't work like that.

We had a mix of all access free wifi and username/password based wifi in the approx 6 AA clubs we used in Nov/Dec 2011.

On the odd occasion the connection worked its was really(unusable) slow and I used my USA AT@T sim card :D
