CGK - SYD Velocity redemption

Hi people,
looking to get an advice from the expert here, I am trying to redeem a business class from CGK to SYD, it is available if i look in a separate leg (CGK - SIN, SIN - SYD) but i cant seems to be able to do it, to book in a single ticket. do you think i can call velocity support to get this separate booking number to a single ticket? i prefer to do it in Velocity as there is no charge for an Infant on lap.

I have noticed for some time that the SIN-CGK segment never show up as available when looking for BNE-CGK and back, even though its available as a standalone redemption, AND all other cities in Indonesia are available too! eg - try SYD-BDO, it works!

I called SQ and they said that they can connect it together. must be a database problem. There is no reason why Velocity cant book it either.

glad to hear SQ can connect those 2 tickets, it would be a nightmare if i need to check in baggage in Singapore to connect flight home.
as far i can search, not one seat comes to avail when searching outbound SYD-CGK, even if do a standalone redemption. i guess i just need to get SQ to connect the 2 ticket if Velocity refuse to do so.

Wouldn’t be needed, even if SQ don’t know about the two tickets beforehand, all you need to do is present your ticket for SIN-SYD when checking in at CGK and they will happily through check luggage and give you boarding passes for both flights. No need to check in at Singapore.
