CDG-SYD - DXB Short Layover

Question to the experienced AFFers .. I'm due to travel from CDG to SYD via DXB. Will be arriving DXB at 0015 and understand it's peak time. Is 1hr40mins to short to make it through security and drop by the Lounge? Ultimate Airport Dubai series always shows EK414 as a headache getting connecting passengers due to the curfew in SYD.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
 
You should get some lounge time, as that is basically where you depart from. But other than some free champs (?) its not awe inspiring.YMMV.

I'm sure EK would love you to be in the lounge. Then they have you, accessible, when boarding time comes :)
