Ok team

First post on AFF. I'm stuck and need your intel.

My wife, infant daughter and I are flying from CDG (Terminal 2C) to Dubai on a QF code share flight operated by Emirates. We have 8hrs to kill in CDG.

I am a Qantas Club member. I am a lowly QFF bronze. We are flying economy class.

1. Can anyone please confirm whether or not I am granted access to the Admirals Club at CDG on the basis that (i) I am a Qantas Club member and (ii) I am flying on an onward QF (code share) flight.

2. If I am granted this access, will my wife and daughter (6 months old) be eligible for access as my guests?

I have reviewed the lounge access conditions on the QF and AA websites. It is ambiguous about whether or not we need to be flying on an AA flight (or AA code share flight) in order to be granted access to the Admirals Lounge.

3. If I am not eligible for no access, what should we do? Purchase a one day pass to the Admirals Lounge. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks in advance.

Gday Buzzwald,
Whilst I don't have the answer to what you are chasing myself, I did notice the below links to similar posts that might have some worthwhile info for you.

Hope that helps mate.

Unfortunately you won't be eligible to use any lounge in Paris as a Qantas Club member. (Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...)

As you've suggested, I think your best option would be to purchase one-time access to the Admirals Club. I believe the cost is US$50 per person, although your daughter should be included as a complimentary guest. So I believe you'd just need to pay for you and your wife.

If it makes you feel better the AA lounge at CDG is nothing to write home about. It has one shower suite, very basic food and standard selection of beers, spirits and bad wines. I usually go the the CX lounge to avoid it.
I was transiting through CDG last month and the AA lounge was closed for refurbishment, not sure when that will be completed.
