Cash+Points bookings

Hi All,

Please let me know what I am experiencing is normal

I'm HH Gold. I only have 7500 HH points in my account at present. But I have quite a number in my VS account which I will transfer to HH when the time comes.

I want to book the Hilton at the Gold Coast. However when I login to my HH account and do a dummy booking, it keeps saying no rewards and no points+cash nights available. This is several months away. Is it not showing because I don't have enough points in my HH account? If yes is there another way to search the reward and cash+points availability?

I would like to find out prior before I transfer my VS points to HH.

Also would like to know what the cash+points rate is for HSP.

For Rewards you will need to tick the "Use HHonors Points" box, and select "Flexible with dates".
Click through to the Hotels selection and click "Select available dates".
This should show the room availability calendar.
In the drop down box on the right select between Points, Point & Money, or Standard Rates.

If I choose the Hilton Surfers Paradise for the night of June 12 using Points only, it shows "From 50,000 Points".
If I select "continue" it takes me to the room selection page, where it's 93,587 points for a King Hilton Deluxe.

If I select Points & Money it says there are none available for the period selected. Going forward a few weeks or a month there is no difference, so I'm guessing they don't do Points & Money.

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe email Hilton and ask? If there is, maybe post the list as a sticky in the Hilton discussion thread?

Just another query, everytime I want to book a full reward say 50000 points per night at HSP or any other i the same category, I can only book 1 night at a time. Say if I want a 3 night stay it will say unavailable but if I do it 1 night at a time it displays availability. How do I get around this? Do I just call up and book? Do you guys experience the same thing? Anything to do with status with HH? I am HH GOLD.
