I noticed the SYD and LHR EY lounges are a little lacking compared to EK. Is it possible to use Etihad's AUH First Class lounge if flying SYD-AUH or LHR-AUH. Are we still entitled to Six Senses Spa, Dining etc?

Edit: This is a EY Redemption Booking on EY in F class cabin.

Um, what cabin are you travelling in? Do you have airline status? Which airline are you on?

Some details may assist..

Sorry, EY Redemption Booking on EY in F class cabin.

Still confused:
Q1. You are flying in F on Etihad and asking if you can use the Etihad F lounge as an Arrivals lounge with no onward flight at AUH?
Q2. Whats EK got to do with it?

Thanks - at least there's something - I guess it would be worth trying my luck anyway at the F lounge.

Also it only states on the EY website (First Class Lounge & Spa - Etihad Airways)

We invite the following guests to enjoy the facilities:

  • Guests of The Residence
  • First Class guests
  • Etihad Guest Platinum member with one guest
  • Eithad Airways Partner airlines platinum members with one guest
  • Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum members with one guest

Giving no mention to an departures only.

The EY lounges in SYD and LHR are great and better than EK IMHO. I believe they offer a watered down version for the VA flights to LAX which is where your info may have come from?

Came to the conclusion you can't do this as you need to go through passport control (departures) meaning you would need a valid boarding pass to do so.

Ended up booking SYD-AUH AUH-CDG in F so now we get to use the First Class lounge in AUH anyway. :)

No passport control for transit pax - but there is security you must clear, and you must hold onward boarding pass like you said.
