Can connecting EY flights now be booked on one PNR in an award ticket?

Hi VFF,

I know a while ago after the Sabre cutover there was a limitation that meant that when booking rewards flights on non-VA codes, the flights had to be on separate PNRs (with obvious consequences for missed connections, luggage transfers, etc. etc.) - is that still the case?

If so, is this going to be fixed? It's a major problem, considering that award availability on VA codes into Europe (and I assume everywhere else too) seems to be non-existent, and that being stuck in Abu Dhabi trying desperately to buy a last minute ticket onwards after missing my connecting flight doesn't really appeal (to me, anyway!).

It also increases point costs quite significantly, which obviously isn't good from a customer perspective...

Thanks,

Danny Smith
