Looks moe like a pegasus to me. Also the limited google i did has the seahorse facing in the opposite direction i.e look to the right, whereas this is looking to the left. I'd suggest a greek or turkish airline.The second one does appears to be the hippocampe ailé logo, which was used with AF and originally came from Air Orient. However they were merged in 1933, not 1937, so it’s an oddity.

Yes, I agree that the leaping springbok is definately SAA, but I would never have got it since the livery changed.
I am still not convinced about the seahorse though, it does look quite like the old AF seahorse, but the dates on the pin don't make sense.
I'll bet it ends up being a refrigerator logo or something.
