Can’t find SQ flights through VA website

Has anyone had issues finding/booking SQ flights through VA recently?

I want to fly with SQ Brisbane to Beijing in business paid with cash (not points).
I am VA Gold so would get significantly more points if I booked with a VA flight number, however when I search the VA website I cannot find any SQ flights.

No matter what variations I put in, it only shows VA flights to Hong Kong then Hong Kong airlines to Beijing.
No SQ flights come up at all.

I’m also wanting to book a multi-city trip so I can have a stopover in SIN on the way back for a few days, but looking at previous threads seems this may not be possible through VA.
I guess I will need to weigh up the additional points bonus over easy of booking direct with SQ.

VA doesn't codeshare with every flight. It would appear that they don't on these routes and choose to codeshare with a different airline.

I don't know how to check if a SQ flight has a VA codeshare, perhaps someone else does.

Cant you just book through singapore airlines and give them your velocity number I did this no worries on BNE to SIN and got all my points

interestingly nearly exactly the same issue, but in reverse, when searching Perth to Beijing out of Perth. Only gives me SQ options PER-SIN-PEK and doesn't offer me options via SYD/MEL and HKG.
