Calling My Girlfriend To Pay Taxes

Since about April,2009 it has been possible to pay Australian Taxation Office bills on your favourite point a dollar or point and a half a dollar credit card. I think of her as my girlfriend as the machine voice has a re-assuring tone.I still see the Tax Office do not properly tell taxpayers that you can credit card every type of bill from them.My girlfriends phone number is 1300 898 089.JS put our members onto this and seeing it is BAS and quarterly tax time now some can get the dust off their credit card. Now JS thinks I am missing the opportunity to pay over the Internet but in my case I like the bonding I get from the phone calls.See you out there!

Finished paying the BAS which was due today and started on the quarterly taxes that have to all get paid by 28th. The Australian Taxation Office stationery is still not saying clearly that credit card payments are OK for every Federal tax 27 months after it all started. I know I can re-load the Amex cards in 3 days time but I hate going into the weekend with maxed out credit cards.

Yes on a point a dollar Visa or MasterCard the point cost is 0.65 cents so a PER-SYD JASA return is sub $600.Currently that could be on Woolworths Everyday Rewards,a couple of Citibank cards and the BankWest Platinum to name three brands.Amex is a little more expensive but quicker to get the points thru a point and a half per dollar card. Their cost is 0.8333 cents per point so it is still very reasonable.

I never thought it through this hard. So it is actually cheaper per point on Visa despite only getting 1 point per dollar??? Can't believe I didn't know this before...
Then again I wasted so many points on points + pay it barely matters.

2011 is a great year to figure it out rather than 10 years later! If we were all to admit our mistakes we made travelling I think that list would be pretty big. My idea to earn QF points on American Eagle ranks right up the top of my list!

OK I have turned really soft.
The Embraer jet is pretty squeezy and we got bounced around quite a bit. So much for Brazilian!
Shooda gone Delta on that one LAX-SLC (Salt Lake City).
I am glad it wasn't on points as I would have felt cheated.
There are 6 days left to re-load the credit cards as the Australian Taxation Office want their money on time or the interest clock starts ticking.

What a nice person you are, its rare for anyone to share their girlfriends phone number.

I use the internet service,How to pay I find it quicker, don't need to find a phone number and I have the easypay as one of my internet favorites.

Who ever started the thread has saved me a lot of hassle of interest on the credit card.

I spoke to your girlfriend today and went to a site she referred me to and paid there. I think it is very sneaky of the ATO not to mention this on their invoice.
