Hi
wondering if anyone has any tips for where to buy good and cheap kids clothes in Bangkok (or coughet)? A few years ago we found an awesome shop in Pratnum Markets but when we were back there last June it's wasn't there anymore. Thought someone on here would have some insider tips.

heading there this Sunday for 2 weeks.

Cheers

Bangkok - MBK shopping centre, and the one across the road from there has been my staple for the last 12 years or so. Near the National Stadium BTS (skytrain) station. Quality was good and price as well. Plenty of shops in there (7 stories from memory).

Chutachuk (sp?) market open from memory on weekends at the end of the line (BTS - Mo Chit) - be advised it can get hot there though, lots of tin sheds last time I was there (years ago.)

Brilliant - thanks for that stewiejp. Didn't think of MBK. Will check them out.

Dont forget to look at some of the department stores.if they have a sale on you can pick up great bargains. We have often bought the grandchildren French designer gear for less than Target prices.Robinson's seems to be the best with sales.quite a few branches.

MBK and Chatuchak Weekend Markets as per previous posts (if going to CC mkts I recommend Kamphaeng Phet MRT station rather than Chatuchak Park MRT. But use Mo Chit Skytrain if you are on that line).

You know about Pratunam Markets, but I would also try Platinum Fashion Mall on the other side of Phetchaburi. Five floors of air conditioned clothes shops.

Terminal 21 on the corner of Asoke and Sukhumvit is one of the newest malls. Not the cheapest but very clean and comfortable and the stores seem to be a little different from the malls further down the road. Great food court there.

Siam Square is recommended for teen clothing but I've never found anything there ...probably because I'm not a teenager.

Brilliant everyone - really helpful. I forgot about Platinum - will check it out

we like terminal 21 as already suggested. There is another seriess of large departmart complexes on the MRT near the Lat Phrao station.
Another place is Central Bang Na. It also has a waterpark on the top floor of the complex - great for the ferals, I mean kids. It mightbe under renovation at the moment though. It is about 20 mins by taxi from the On Nut BTS station. (60 baht)
