Can't see why it wouldn't work, but since we're talking about SIN here, I'd just tough it out at the terminal and spend the ~$30 on more chilli crab :)

hmmm.....just dont complain about the crowded lounge when you get there...who knows how many others have done the same!!!! just a thought!!!;)

Is the lounge even open when you are flying?

Just pay to get into one of the lounges. Seriously not worth the hassle and I wouldn't stuff around with Singaporean immigration.

That would be my concern that immigration would know what flight(s) you've checked in for and potentially see that you're booked on two different flights. It might trigger a security alert especially if you have checked luggage on one flight.

They're nice people the Singaporeans but they don't do humour when it comes to security matters (nor does anybody, so I guess it really doesn't matter does it?)

Gotta agree, not worth the hassle. SIN is a pretty good airport to be stuck in without lounge access.

Last time I flew though SIN I tried out the Ambassador lounge, from memory it was about SG$35 - a good discount for paying by Amex (yes! A _discount_ paying by Amex instead of a surcharge)

Agreed! SIN is one place you can survive very well without lounge access! Anyway if you are doing this to access the QF F Lounge, I rate it a decent business class lounge at best...

Fair comments here and everyone is probably right abt the hassle. Will slum it up in the airport or use the pp membership.

Cheers!

A lounge visit is simply not worth all that hassle.

Plenty of things to do at SIN airport.

I usually seek refuge in the butterfly garden :D
I haven't done that one yet.

I have sat in the lounge chairs, charging my phone for free, eating take away and drinking beers from Cheers. Very relaxing.
