As per title, I do recall reading a post a while back about a row 1 seat on either xfc-d-f with busted IFE which had not been fixed over a number of weeks. Can somone who was on the bird tell me which seat it was so I can avoid it. Thanks in advance!

Did the Syd-Per A330 IN J on Friday (older bird)

There were multiple IEFs out of order - in fact about 6 or 7 - all on the F/J/K side (but in no real pattern). Annoyingly of the ones that did work a number of the loop movies had poor quality.

Was probably a good thing (in my case) as I had lots of work to do on the laptop.... some of the others were not so impressed.

Just another reason to avoid row 1...

Apart from the wank factor I don't know why AFFer's think row 1 is so great.

Less legroom, screen further away, less storage bins etc.

It was 1A on VH-XFE at the beginning of October this year. It was reported (same seat) either side of that for a few weeks at least.

and FWIW IMHO my preference would be row 1 on the new 332's. But any of the seats are decent.

I'm in row 1 on 'Bells Beach' in Perth now. IFE seems to be working for all seats.

....and if you are in 1D/1F other pax constantly cross over in front of you.

Yes, whats with that? I notice that too. People just see the space and seem to want to walk through it ... they are not going anywhere... just making use of the available pathway. I notice that FA's _never_ ever do it.

Yep. 1A. I had it on a flight from Perth early September.

I had 1A on XFE a few nights ago, IFE was all good.

Interestingly, the load was 24/24 as well, first time that has happened to me on the A330
