What is the chance that some cheap OS flights to Asia become available for December Return? Mostly Asia.
Are the outbound load factors now, less than this time last year?
So far the Australian Outbound legs seem fully priced - as if the GFC never happened, $900 , $1000 for even AirAsia. I do remember Airlines ringing each other to collude - err hold their nerve. This seems cough value when USA or Europe is doable for $1300 odd while aussie currency rose quite a bit.
I observe inbound fares on say, AirAsia are in the ballpark, until they ask for $500plus going out. Too bad - SG and TG often sell a return for less than that. Tiger dont want business either: Won't pay 6* baggage + 6 * creditCard fee with 6*extras should I need to change anything. Bad business model there.
I already have my tix - bought 8 and 2 months ago when the sales were
going. JQ can either run hot or cold. Lately cold, as double the difference is claimable, so they just close blocks out.
In a game of brinkmanship, I remember a late flood of seats on 6th December , and wondering if volume is down, will same MO will be repeated.
