BNE Airport tour (proposed when COVID allows) interest thread

Given that all of the problems which prevented this auspicious event from proceeding 9 months ago have flown into the sunset, is there any exciting news on when the Grand Tour is likely to push back from the gate. I, for one, can't wait to board.

There were 8 +ve Covid cases at the FlyerTalk event in Mel 2 weeks ago....just saying for those who think Covid is over.

I am in the run up to EoFY with work (own business) and haven't got the time at the moment to organise - clients and family come first. Have just connected with the new QF Regional GM so hoping that I can leverage off that (I have a couple of ideas). Haven't forgotten but having 7 weeks away from work in Jan/Feb/Mar (1 week holiday, 1 week COVID isolation then 5 weeks COVID positive) has put me waaay behind the 8 ball.

You may not care but as we work in hospitals we needed 2x PCRs and daily negative RATs just to go to work....when your loved one ends up in hospital with Covid you will be thankful there are staff there who do care (and make sure they themselves are Covid negative) and will look after your loved one!!
 
I would be interested in attending provided the dates match up (i.e. I'm not travelling during that time).
