My daughter is meeting me at BNE international arrivals next week, and wants to bring her dog.

Is there any rule saying dogs can't be brought into the terminal? It'll be on a leash, well behaved etc.

Thanks for any guidance - Spiggy.

Perhaps if you put a hi viz vest on it and attach a sign saying that it's 'Assist Dog'. ;) Jokes aside I have no idea, but I suspect the doggy is banned.

I'll ask, why does she want to bring the dog?

Hopefully the answer is no dogs allowed.

Why can't one bring a dog into the airport?
Is there actually a sign, saying no?
I can't remember seeing one. I know there is "no smoking" but how many people (apart from Johnny Depp) take their dogs on holiday?

Walk through most continental europe airports and you will see this all the time

Just like you will see restaurants in places like Italy allow them. When you ask the owner they suggest it's a necessary evil to get business.

There are no signs saying you cannot use flamethrowers either.

Given I was at CNS dom when a guy doused himself in petrol and threatened to light it up.......maybe there should be!

Back on topic, I'm not sure, but I reckon the answer will be no to pets, yes to guide dogs and the like. I can just see a dog fight breaking out between the sniffer dogs and a pet.......oh and where does the dog poop and have a drink? My suggestion would be to leave the pooch at home and meet and greet him/her there.
