Remember the important procedure, slide your VGW down the right hand side of EFTPOS reader, then insert VGW into bottom of reader and type in PIN.
Don't use tap and go if you want the bonus points.
I got the double points, and the 500...
I don't use bottled gas, one of them descriptions had me rent/buy bottled gas from BP/OTR (SA)!
The double points/bonus 500 VFF points only appeared after the slide right, and slide in, nothing appeared after I did a tap and go EFTPOS!

Better go through my 300 emails to see whether I’ve got an offer like that - after being away for 3 weeks, hopefully they think I’ll need one

How long do they usually take to post points? I had the May offer of 2x500 points, also in June and still zilch to come through.

They usually take the full length of time specific in the T&Cs.

New offer for me:

Needless to say, I activated. But can’t use one of my local BP’s as it’s closed for complete renovations.

Should be able to get 3 fills in (using both cars) before 31 Aug. would have preferred the 500 bonus point offer instead, but I can’t refuse

6 points per dollar here for every purchase until 31st August.

Very timely, as both our cars are <1/4 full. Fingers crossed my husband doesn’t fill up on the way home tonight without my card!

Long time Velocity Member & BP user, why don’t I receive these bonus offers via email?

My email preferences are ticked for partner emails.

Yep, me too. Must just be the luck (or lack thereof) of the draw.

One would presume that BP Marketing have information from VA Marketing about members and they'll be using other data to select those for the offer.

I was selected for my first offer in April 2017, after being a VA member for 6 years.

Try not going to a BP/OTR (South Aust) for a few weeks, after being a very regular customer, you will start to get offers.
Keep playing this game, I most of the time go to Coles Express, until I get OTR offers in South Aust, and then go back, then go away again.
And as I always say, do not ever tap or just enter the VGW wallet card down the bottom, always slide it down the right hand side first, this gives you the VFF bonus, after the right swipe, the enter the card at bottom and type in PIN.
Have never missed points this way by swiping VGW card down the right hand side of EFTPOS machine first, BUT the several times the person behind counter said, no need to swipe down the right hand side of EFTPOS, I listened to him, I did lose the bonus points!
Just tap/enter VGW card down bottom and type in PIN, he said, I lost a lot of bonus points this way.
Edit: you must go into your VFF account, and not only tick partner offers, but you must tick the one that says "fuel partner offers".
If yours in your VFF is ticketed, and you have not had any offers, start buying things from BP fuel, or OTR in SA, and then stop for a while and see what happens.

cant see the value in BP velocity offers, when you can get 24c a litre off at coles express combining offers or 14c off at woolworths with coupon (6c) and egift (~8c).

I only use the BP offers when u get x pts for no min spend.

Got a six points per litre offer today. Curiously travelling to Melbourne tomorrow evening and renting a car (I live in Singapore). Serious question ... is velocity somehow extracting data from my emails. ? Every time I get an offer it coincides with a trip back to MEL. In fact in all but one of my last 6 trips I have received an offer a few days beforehand. Odd co-incidence!
