Hi everyone,

I am wanting to book flights to Colomnbo, Sri Lanka, business class awards. Velocity dont have any available and booking it with Krisflyer turns out to use a lot more points (65k Velocity vs 70k Krisflyer).

I was thinking of booking Brisbane - Singapore business class awards and then paying for a Singapore Airlines flight to Colombo. I cant seem to be able to book Singapore - Colombo on Velocity. I cant even select Singapore as my starting airport.

Is there any way to link the two given they are both SQ flights when they are booked on two different tickets?

Thanks in advance!

No. They can put a note in one booking referencing the other, but it's not a flag as such... only if someone looks for it (or at least that's my understanding).

You are still travelling on two separate tickets. They cannot be combined into the same ticket.

I discovered with booking Etihad flights, that the Virgin website didnt connect them together into a single flight, when not oroginating/returnning to Australia, like BKK>AUH>LHR, but each leg could be booked seperately.
I just ring up the VFF call centre and ask the lady to stich them together and it was fine. Try it.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
