Just wondering how to book QF Economy (B) international fares. Seems impossible to do from generic website booking engines. I know that the fare is flexi but is there any way to know during the flight selection process to see whether the fare bucket is either H Y or B. Am I missing something!!!! What's the go!!! Is it some lucky dip that QF do not indicate the fare bucket when you click to open flight information.

Any ideas how to book

I called the Qantas customer service booking and they could book the above flight so I guess the easiest method is to find the flights on ITA matrix and book them with QF over the phone.

See here: QF Booking Class?

Other than that, read the whole thread for an idea of whether QF really want people to know the fare bucket.

Sometimes it is worthwhile to have cultivated a relationship with a good TA....
I considered one in South Africa but then OneWorld changed the charging policies for xONEx tickets....

Happy wandering

To avoid the booking phone charge, you could book online, check what booking class it booked as and if not the correct one call qf before midnight(qf booking guarantee) to get them to adjust the booking class and pay the fare difference.
