Could somebody please advise whether EK 777-300 have lie flat beds in J?

I have a 2.30am departure ex BNE so will be looking to get some sleep if possible.

F seats available and only an extra 30k points so happy to go F :p but also mindful of not wasting points for the sake of it.

Cheers CM

The 777's usually don't have flat beds in J but the angle. I'd go F for the experience. No shower though.

But then again, if it's a pared down F experience I would think hard about it especially as it is a 2.30am flight. I did 777 J from SIN to SYD earlier this year and did sleep well even though not fully flat (I didn't notice I must say - perhaps a couple of wines helped) :)

J bed on 777 is angled flat but I didn't find it uncomfortable, perhaps a little too short (I'm 6'). F bed is fully flat, and suite makes it private, but 2am departure means you sleep and will miss the F service experience, so I'd "slum it " in J.

And it was a nice upgrade :p

Adelaide only has the 777 service to Dubai and J is very nice and certainly seats good enough for sleeping.

Righto J it is on the way over and F on the way back. A much more respectable departure time of 15.15
Should be able to make full use of the F experience then and saved 30k points for another day :)
Thanks for everyone's input. Cheers CM

We're doing something similar and flying EK SIN-BNE early November in F. Tossed up about spending the extra 30,000 points but thought what the hell! It's a day/night flight so you get to enjoy it more plus by using points it's a cheap way of getting the F experience (even if it’s only a 7 ½ hour flight). Going the other way not too worried as as others have pointed out it's an early morning departure so probably more interested in sleeping than eating and drinking.
