My somewhat elderly mother is travelling to Europe on her own and has an overnight stopover in BKK on the way. I have booked her into the BKK Novotel. She and I did the same thing when travelling to Europe together in 2011 and she has bad memories of having to walk for miles through the airport to get to immi and then having to queue up for ages. She keeps telling me she will manage, but I know she is anxious about it. Her mobility is ok but she cant walk for long distances without resting and I think she is concerned about this. I thought a VIP meet and greet service might be good but am having trouble finding the right one for her. Can anyone recommend a service? I'm looking for buggy on arrival, fast track through immi and help with bags and take her to the Novotel shuttle. I gave her a link to https://www.bangkokflightservices.com/index.php to book but she says the website booking is not working so I'm wondering if they still offer this service?

She is travelling on Royal Brunei in J from MEL. The next day she is connecting to AY to Europe but she says she only needs it for on arrival, she is not worried about the departure she says.

On the way home from Europe she will be with us as we are meeting up with her there so no issues with that.

Thanks for your help.

It was Bangkok flight services that we tried that did not seem to be working, as you say may no longer be available.

Will check out the other one. I'm not sure what they mean by porter services (extra charge0 but I'm assuming that means help with your bags.

Has anyone else had any personal experience with any of these and can recommend a service?

I have used both. Bangkok flight services may no longer be available, but the first of the links provided by JohnK worked equally well. All went without a hitch.

'Porter services' means they will lift your bag off the luggage belt, load it on to a trolley, and then load it into the car. It's included as part of the service.

I highly recommend the buggy service. The only downside is that you are paying for fast-track immigration which your mom would probably get for free anyway as a business class passenger. But them's the breaks.
