Best points earner on OS spend?

Hi,

just wondering which CC you would recommend for OS spend? I have a debit card for $0 foreign transactions, but wanted to know options to work out ppd for an 8 week trip.

I have Citi Prestige which generates 1.2 KF/$, but has a 3.4% transaction fee. Anything better?

I use the Coles Rewards card which gives 2 Flybuys points per dollar and charges no currency fees. If you wait for a Flybuys to Velocity promo you can get a little over 1VFF per dollar.

I use the BankWest World MasterCard. While it’s only 0.66 QFF point/$, it has no foreign currency fees at all.

Yes I am using Bankwest World CC as the foreign exchange pricing is as good as Citibank debit plus you earn QF points as listed above.
When I needed some cash in London I put the card into credit and then withdrew 500 pounds. The fee was $4 which was pretty modest for the equivalent of almost $860 AUD. After that I used the card for most of our shopping. You sign the CC chit in most places which is ok.

Commbank Diamond Amex is 1.5 QFF points no fees per $

Doesn't work for the accompanying MC though

CBA DIA Amex is a great card .... but 1.2p/$ not 1.5

The exchange rate is excellent - comparable to Xe. Have used with a dozen or so currencies and have been very happy with the rate and no fees.

I convert to QF but IIRC you can convert to QF or VA ... you will need to verify that one.

I get this card fee free, as do many others.... CBA are pretty keen to give away if you do some business with them.
