Currently have ANZ Plat. CC aligned to QFF looking for one in OZ to accrue points for use on CX.

Citibank cards with CitiRewards allow transfer to CX. If the fee free for life offer is still around that would be ideal.

I believe only the Citibank Select allows transfers to Asia miles of the citi cards, not the Signature.

$700 annual fee, and works out to be 1 Asia mile, per $1 spent.

I have a Westpac Black Altitude card which will redeem for Air Asia.

Bang for buck I don't think you can beat AMEX Platinum Edge $195 3 points per dollar at supermarkets , 2 points per dollar at petrol station a free flight with VA and it transfers at 1:1 Asia Miles.

Good advice, I've just applied for the AMEX Platinum Edge - and will probably cancel my ANZ cards given they credit to QFF.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

The AMEX Plat Edge is a good choice, but not if points are primarily from ATO. WBC Black is better for that.

You can't convert WBC Altitude points to Air Asia points - I don't think there is any credit card in Australia that allows that. You're only able to convert to VA, MH, NZ, SQ and CX programmes.

oops. Meant Asiamiles as per the original question.

With CX in mind, I am toying with the thought of going back to Select again, having left them for the fee-free Signature in 2013.

I have been too SQ oriented but the joys of HK had opened my mind to other possibilities.

Providing options is definitely the right strategy. Though the Select CX points earn are significantly less than for VA or SQ, definitely agree with Hong Kong being my preferred transit point over Singapore with all the rest a distant third.
SIN climate and shorter flight time removes the overnight return flight option for me with QF82 in January a "never again" flight option.
