Some reasons for it being so cheap, other than a price war, is the angled lie flat seats (which should not be listed as a reason to take the flight... it is a negative, not positive), and the unsociable arrival time of 2215.

Pretty pointless criticism, in my view.

A negative, not positive... relative to what?

And the arrival time might be just peachy for numerous reasons, including people who prefer day flights.

Stating a 2-2-2 angled lie flat is a good reason why you should take the flight is potentially confusing to those not experienced with the route and aircraft operating. People might not realise this is one of the couple of planes QF has not refurbished with the new suites.

Full flats are standard on the chinese carriers, and the bulk of flights offered by other asian carriers.

If the arrival time is ‘peachy’ for those who like day flights, then the return will not be, departing PEK at 2345.

Awesome. A few more facts and a tad less randomly directed meanspiritedness, and your contribution might be close to that of the OP.
