just looking for advice

currently gold HH status atm, any first hand experiences/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

3 nights in bangkok in mid october and have some points to burn with Hilton.

thanks

If on holidays, Hilton Millenium would be my choice as it's quite relaxing watching the river activities while enjoying breakfast plus the exec lounge has superb views and great service. Conrad is ok, but not that flash. Hilton Sukhumvit is convenient but Millenium is my preferred for BKK.
PS the river boat shuttle is good fun too but make sure you close your mouth if you don't want any accidental splatter of the water from the river!

Hilton Sukhumvit for me. Very accessable location

Conrad is my preferred choice as I have always been granted a King Bed Deluxe Suite during every stay. Agree, location may feel strange but a quick 5mins walk/shutttle bus to metro. It has a nice pool to relax and great Exec Lounge.

Hilton Sukhumvit is more modern style but my experience of the service has been hit & miss

I wasn't overly impressed at the Hilton Sukhumvit last year either. The lounge was a bit of a poor state. They ran out of basically all the booze (except for vermouth...) and wouldn't replace anything. Also ran out of glasses very early in the evening and didn't restock them.

I prefer the Conrad. Slightly higher standard and I like the location for access to the BTS and walking to nearby food/shops.

Hilton Sukhumvit for location - good street food and shopping nearby. Conrad is a tad out of the way for mine.

If you want to stretch your honors points, perhaps think about the DT which is next door to the Hilton. It's usually much cheaper. Good rooms, gym and breakfast though sans executive club if that's your thing. It's my favourite among the Hilton stable in Bangkok.

i think the opinions here have pushed me towards the millennium due to the fact we have a four night stay at the sofitel sukhumvit already booked for that part of the city.

The family have always enjoyed the lounges so im interested in experiences as a gold status at the Hilton millennium, should i book an exec room or chance the upgrade being given?

great service at the Conrad, good brekky and lounge spread - the adjacent retail arcade in the office is very handy also

My experience as a Gold in Thailand is that lounge access has always been included. And breakfast outside of executive lounge is also included.

My missus and her friend were in Hilton Sukhumvit last June and was upgraded to Executive Plus Room (corner). Evening service at lounge wasn't that good compare with other BKK properties but services and recognition were superb. (Why eat at lounge when you have much more food right outside the hotel). Room was nice and beautiful.
