Baggage while staying in airside transit hotel

My daughter is flying from Sydney to London later this month. The first leg is QF, arriving SIN at 1645. She departs SIN the next morning at 0645 on CX travelling to LHR via HKG. The second and third legs are QFF award bookings, obviously on a different PNR.
I was anticipating booking her into the airside hotel at Changi so that she wouldn't have to clear immigration (and it is convenient and cheap) .
Would her baggage be tagged through to LHR when she checks in at SYD, or does she have to retrieve it on arrival in SIN? Can she even check in for the second and third legs in SYD? If so, does that mean that she will be checking in at OMG o'clock in SIN (although I suppose taking jet lag into account, she will be leaving SIN at 0945 SYD time, so check in will feel more like 0700 to her body).
She was thinking of having dinner with a friend that evening in SIN, so perhaps she might be better off going landside anyway, in which case I expect she will claim her bags. I suspect landside accommodation might be more expensive, however. She may find if QF are delayed that she might arrive in SIN too late to go out. My priority is that she is safely accommodated overnight and doesn't miss her flight - she is only 18.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Her luggage should be tagged through to LHR but even if the luggage is not through checked then let the luggage go through to lost baggage. Check in to transit hotel airside and in the morning clear immigration after collecting luggage and checkin for next flight.

I have done this many times.

So even if you stay in the airside hotel you need to clear immigration?
Only if your luggage is not checked through to destination. You can try the transfer desk on arrival but the next days flight could be out of the question.

In saying that the luggage should be checked through as ithe flights are on Oneworld carriers.

Your luggage should be checked through.

If not then 5 minutes at transfer desk in SIN.

And if that doesn't work go out at 3:30am to collect luggage, clear immigration and checkin again. Very quiet at that time of the morning.

Sounds straight forward. Singapore usually makes these matters run smoothly

As others have said, baggage will be through checked from SYD. Just make sure the check-in agent knows the final destination is LHR, and present all the relevant tickets for the end-to-end journey. QF policy is that through checking of bags is possible if on separate tickets, but all are oneworld (which is the case here).

In the unlikely event they cannot be checked through, simply arrive, forget the luggage, and proceed directly to the transit hotel. On leaving the hotel, either go to a transfer desk OR head through immigration, pick up the bags, then check in.
