Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Australian Customs, Australian Border Force etc, all now have an all encompassing agency called the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
Except Quarantine which is still within Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.
Lots of money spent I am sure.
Worth it? I am not sure, but there it is.

Every time I see more of this Empire Building, usually based on playing on security fears, I am even more grateful that I am long retired from Customs.
