Hi all, I have just come across a darn good fare from LATAM, for travel on selected dates from 01/10/2019 through to 30/07/2020. Prices from MEL start at $3500, and from PER yes PER at $3850. Matrix says you get one free stopover and 3 at $100, but in my quick investigations online I haven't had any luck. I haven't checked any other departure ports yet.
This ends tomorrow, so get busy!

Managed to look into this about more, and I found the sale runs until 4/10, and is valid at that price for many South American destinations, not just SCL

Take care if planning to credit to a oneworld carrier. LATAM Will be moving from Oneworld to Skaryteam at some point in the future after Delta bought a 20% stake and AA couldn’t get a favorable SCL ruling. No dates yet but I’d suggest at least 6 months away.

Really?
I haven’t seen that reported anywhere but I would be stoked if that happens. Have gradually been upping our flights on SkyTeam carriers so another option would be great

No confirmed intent to move to skyteam and it may not happen. Though departure from oneworld is definite.

Very likely with a 20% Delta stake an no alliance membership once they leave OW.

That's where there's potential... a new informal grouping, or 4th alliance if you like.

Though given LATAM are maintaining their codeshares with QF, unlikely to be directly VA-LA

Will be interesting to see if DL allow the QF/LA codeshare to continue or not
