If you're arriving into SYD from OS and heading straight out to the CBD, I think you're out of luck.

QF allow arrivals use but only for domestic lounges. As markis said, you could go to the domestic terminal, but you would need to clear Immigration and Customs, catch the train or taxi to the domestic terminal, then go through security to get to the lounge.

YMMV.

If you have your own towel and toiletries there are showers at T1, pre customs at Gate 50, in the baggage hall near belts 1-5, there are no showers in the QF arrivals pier which is the older terminal. After clearing formalities there are showers on the departures levels, near the lifts at checkin area A and K.

Thanks evereryone,
I live outside Sydney (from OS l usually head straight home so dont have a need for this.) Bad luck for the tourists eh? I love to have a shower in the AA arr lounge LHR -Can't believe we have nothing similar to offer our visitors.

Just to bump this thread up, there are indeed showers available for use at two points at SYD T1. I've attached a picture here from their website and circled where these showers are.

I have to arrive AM and head to the office to introduce a new starter. Not too keen on giving a bad impression so might give these a try.
