Just wanting to see if anyone has tried the Antler Atom, which is supposed to be their version of the Samsonite Cosmolite.

I'm looking for a new mid/large hardcase and while the exterior appearance of the Atom is a little, ahem, eyecatching it is a bit cheaper than the Cosmolite. I've also seen some reviews of the Cosmolite check-in cases that are making me think twice, although I've never had an issue with my carry-on Cosmolites that have had to be checked occasionally.

THey certainly look good. I ended up picking the Prism as the interior looked more accomodating and it was significantly cheaper.

I was going to buy the Prism then splashed out and bought the Atom 74cm.
Its now been from Australia to various US cities, Europe and the UK and a couple of Australian domestic destinations too. Its got a few scuffs but nothing bad. It wheels along fine, the handle is fine as is the zip. It was easy to wheel this and my other case at the same time.

Although it feels very light, (2.8kg) it has done the job of keeping the contents protected (bottles of wine, whisky etc) and I had it packed to over 23kg
I'd decided to buy soft-cases from now on but couldn't find one that ticked all the boxes. The ATOM comes in at 156.5cm, so its good for all the airlines.

My favourite hard case though is my Eminent Move Air. Its heavier though and is only 68cm plus being a hard case, you can't really stuff too much in it but its really survived the wars with only a few scuffs.
