Anyone replace headphone cups on QC15's?

Don't know about Ebay, but you can go to a Bose store and buy new ones.

I took some in a few months ago, but decided to trade in for QC20's. They offer a pretty reasonable deal for trade ins too.

I had the QC15 but the cups started to break and I decided to upgrade to the QC25s...

However I recently went to the Bose shop in Brisbane and got the QC15's cups replaced there and then for $35

Can't speak for the ebay knock off replacement ear pads, but I've bought some on Taobao in China and they were fine. Actually I preferred them to the original ones. The foam was firmer and didn't "collapse" like the original pads. The skin didn't peel as easily either.

They're very easy to replace. The pad is attached to a plastic ring, which has some tabs that let it clip on to the earcup. Just gently squeeze the pad so that the tabs can come out. To put in a new one, also squeeze it until it is inside the earcup area and then let it go and push the tabs in.

Hi Newmarket, what sort of deal do they offer for a trade in? Mine are getting old and the ear pieces are crumbling

I've replaced mine with $5 eBay parts too and it's simple.

we paid $229 from memory to upgrade to some white QC25s last month. Now have his and her's so no more sharing!

Sydney Homebush DFO Bose store did the replacement for $35 by memory. I bought the $5 Chinese ones but then thought ugggh too hard to bother with and went to Bose via the Burberry and Oroton stores

I don't remember exactly, but I think that I paid US$179 or so which included the trade in on my old ones. The ear pieces were crumbling on mine too; kind of embarrassing!
