Anyone had exoeriences with DWC ( the other Dubai) airport?

Qatar have dirt cheap J fares from Bangkok to DWC - which appears to be the other Dubai airport. Anyone flown in/out of it and can report on experiences, true travel times etc.

Not sure how the report displays for you - the section on DWC sometimes comes up compressed - you have to expand it by clicking on the tab immediately following the last pictures and text of the trip report (before the comments section).

When I put in Bangkok to Dubai for dates in October, it shows flights to both DWC and DXB at the same price, both via Doha and at about 23,000 THB each way.

What dates are you looking at and what sort of prices? Thanks.

I am looking in April next year - you seem to be accessing sale fares which is why you can fly into DXB. Might wait for a sale fare as the price seems fairly stable

Dates that I checked in April when flying into DWC are about 20,000 THB and ones into DBX are about 10,000 THB more each way. Noticed that First Saver fares into DBX are about 60,000 THB each way, cheapish way to go First Class
