Hi All!
I am looking at flying to UK from MEL late April, with a weekend break in Singapore on the way out, then back home direct from LHR-MEL 2 weeks later.
However, the system is telling me that the SIN-LHR leg is not valid for this type of trip.
Singapore is not a valid origin and London (Heathrow) is not a valid destination. Even if I remove this leg, I still get an error.
Is anyone else getting this problem?

I haven't tried recently but yes QF multi city bookings usually do my head in.

For SIN LHR you could try switching to QF's Singapore site but I suspect if you book different sectors separately with different booking numbers the aggregate price may be astronomical.

Yes I think you are correct. I have booked multi-city trips so many times through the QF site, as recently as last month, and never had this issue. Let's hope it is just a cough and fixes itself up soon.

There's a list of some of the more common multi-city booking tool errors here: Qantas Website Error Codes (And How to Avoid Them)

However, I must say that I've never seen SIN-LHR not be recognised as a valid routing. Is there perhaps some other issue at play here (e.g. too many sectors in the itinerary, or something else)?

Thanks @Mattg it literally is as simple as MEL-SIN SIN-LHR LHR-MEL. Nothing more complicated than that...
The irony is that next month I am flying MEL-STN LHR-SIN and SIN-MEL, all booked through the QF website and no problem at any stage even with the DXB-STN being booked with a EK flight number.

I have been trying to book a simple domestic multi-city flight this evening without success. I kept getting all the way through to the payment page and then got 'generic error page'. Very frustrating.
