Hi all
Am about to book flights from CPT-IST-LHR//ATH-IST-DEL for next year. TK has same fantastic fares at the moment which i want to snap up. I originally found the flights on iFly for around AUD$750 pp. I can bring up the same flights on the TK website for around $790 pp, but with the charge in EURO rather than AUD so need to add another few % (I don't have a 28 degrees card- damn!).
Is there any benefit to paying the extra to book directly with TK rather than through iFly? Normally I am reluctant to book through a travel agent because any changes to flights become an enormous drama and it is easier to deal with the airline directly. But if my understanding is correct, iFly is not a travel agent per se, rather a booking engine that enables you to book directly with the airline. Am I correct in this?
Anything else I should know before going ahead and booking with iFly? Nothing in the T&Cs jumps out as a concern.
Thanks in advance
