A few of you may remember that late last year AMEX had a series of offers over an 8(?) week period that allowed you to earn vouchers, discounted car hire etc etc.
I did earn two $50 Virgin Australia gift vouchers, I received the emails with voucher detail in mid-December last year. I've finally tried to redeem them, only to be told by the (very helpful) lady on the Plat line that they've been used... Initially I thought I'd had some sort of mental aberration and forgotten I'd used them!
But while she couldn't see the booking reference they'd been redeemed against, she did tell me exactly when (date and time) they were used, and having checked my diary, and looked for VA booking emails from that date, I can pretty much confirm it wasn't me!
Any one else experienced difficulties with this? Obviously I need to contact AMEX, but naturally the Contact us link on the email doesn't work...! Any ideas?
