Amex velocity card lougne passes

I had the amex velocity credit card and cancelled it in August of this year just after my 1 year anniversay of having the card. The 2x virgin lounge passes are still listed on my velocity account. Will they still work without the credit card? Or do i need the card to access the lounge? If i need the card does it have to be active as i do still have the card.
Flying virgin in february for our 10th wedding anniversary and hoping to visit the virgin lounge for the first time

Passes will still work - mate did exactly the same thing and used passes last week without an issue.
