Im happy to put my hand up to refer someone as i never have before

I believe it is the number after the CPID but I may be wrong.
 
General question regarding existing Amex card holders,

I have been going to ask this question for a while as I don't understand fully the concept of card churning.

I currently have an NAB Qantas platinum card. being linked master card and amex card (originally was called Gold but they comped me for some reason I cant remember a few years ago)
Does this preclude me from earning bonus point if I was to apply for Amex platinum edge, I have a sizeable (IMHO) tax bill, and would rather get something out of it at least so looking at options.
 
Bank issued AMEX will not preclude you from bonus points, only an AMEX issued by AMEx would
 
Is there a webpage that my friend needs to go to to be able to refer me, as they are already an amex platinum edge card holder ?

It's suppose to be under rewards when your frield logs into the amex site, but seems like they've removed it again. Unsure why, though from my browser history the page is still available. Your friend should be able to make a referral link that he can pass to you on that page.

I cant find it now either.

Previously it only worked at the bottom of the page when your in you normal 'my account' section ( i used the find function in my browser to find it)

It wouldnt work from the choose card section as it would keep freezing

As above it seems to have disappeared however

Actually the posting guidelines specifically allows for multiple posters of an offer.

"If there are multiple referrers offering the same product, choose a referrer who you think is most deserving of the bonus they will receive. The criteria is up to you, but could include their contribution to AFF, whether or not you have personally met them etc. Remember, the bonus they receive is quite significant, so take care in your selection!"

:) thanks heaps for sharing! i see the plat edge bonus for the referrer has gone down to 5,000pts, still 10,000pts for applicant though.

No idea why, still showing up as 10k for me.

EDIT: Mystery solved, its 5k for the referrer if the referrer is a Platinum Rewards Card holder, referrers who hold Platinum Edge cards still get 10k.
 
Didn't realise the annual fee had gotten so high for Edge - thankfully mine is locked in at $99 (for the time being....!)
