Amex New Annual Fees Being Refunded On Cancellation?

I am about to apply for the Qantas Ultimate Card from this link:
Frequent Flyer - Earning Points - Cards - Qantas American Express Ultimate Card

I wanted to know if i apply for this card, use it to get the 32 500 free points and pay the annual fee, if i cancel the card do they do a partial refund of the annual fee? Ie if you use 3 months they reimburse for the 9 months worth.

I have done this in the past with the premium card, can anyone tell me if amex does this for the ultimate card, and if they have how long ago.

Yes they do ,I have just canceled mine and received points, flight and $300 refund.
