That's a tad presumptuous innit? How do they know any of the "babes" are members of the mile high club? Oh that's right it's No News - why let facts get in the way of a good story!

Possibly a better way to get paid would be to adopt a 'no pay no fly' rule or 'show me the money'. The employer is getting away with it because its employees are letting them.

Don't know whether I'd try that one myself. The majority of (young male) pax I encounter have their nose stuck in a Zoo or Ralph magazine most of the flight that's if they're not sound asleep.

Indeed, but when do you ever hear the term 'mile high' without the word 'club' attached to it or the very least some kind of inference of airborne shennanigans taking place?

Never heard hosties referred to as 'mile high babes' before but in this case whilst not directly insinuating 'things' of that nature taking place, the fact that the said babes stripped off only gave No News all the ammunition they needed.

The publicity probably did more for the ticket sales rather than forcing the employer to cough up and pay their staff.

mile high club is only one use of "mile high". The mile high club is a club whose members have done something a "mile high".
No doubt a mile high babe is a babe who works a mile high. Anyway, i've heard mile high used many times without a being a reference to the mile high club. e.g. The Byrds' Eight miles high.

They might be - but the flight attendants in question look quite different to the photos.

Take a closer look at the anatomy - the limbs are out of proportion and the airbrushing is phenomenally bad. When have you ever seen a real woman look like that? Also, the copy/pasting of bodies on to airplanes was pretty poorly done (especially the engine nacelle one).

Really, they should be submitted to PhotshopDisasters

You are probably right. To me the photos looked genuine as I generally do not look at all the details on a photo.
