Air France // special vip invitation // opera house

Anyone else get this? No idea why I did as I've never flown Air France. I replied in the affirmative and they asked whether I had any dietary restrictions

Air France is delighted to invite you and a guest to a special and glamourous lunch on the 17th May. Please see attached the invitation. (See attached file: INVITATION-doc.zip)
The luncheon will feature

A unique fashion show highlighting Air France's uniforms of past and present and also the famous '
'Stars sur la Passerelle'' photographic exhibition coming from Paris (Stars on the jet way)
Friday 17th May
12.00 for 12.30pm
Guillaume at Bennelong

The invitation will be extended to the 10 first RSVP - Please RSVP before Friday 10th May

Given the invitation is a zip file I wouldn't have opened it due to fear of viruses.

Did you do the FlyingBlue Status match? I received several such invites when I was Platinum (dropped back to Silver now) which was 'as a valued Australian member of Flying Blue'.

They do more for their (gifted) elites than QF

Ah ha...I did. It makes some sense now...but I have dropped back to Ivory now

. So it is a genuine offer, not SPAM? Free lunch at the Opera house is nothing to be sneezed at, esp. with beautiful French women parading in front of you:mrgreen::shock:!

Go for it, I have a feeling that fine dining won't be around for much longer at the Opera House.

I Received the invite also but too busy and probably too slow to respond

I was status match to Plat, but also now a very pale Ivory... A couple of other invites have come along - Bastille Day etc. it will be interesting to see how long they take to downgrade their manual local list!
