Air France and Skyteam Elite Plus bag allowance

Hi all,

I'm Skyteam Elite Plus thanks to an Alitialia status match last year.

I need to get from Bordeaux to Paris to overnight at Orly airport. I was just going to take the train, but then occurred to my flying might be a better option. The cheapest Air France flight doesn't include baggage. Anyone know what Elite Plus might get me. Both the Air France and Skyteam websites aren't overly clear. They state I get either an extra 10kg or 1 bag depending on system in use. Not quite sure what this would mean for this case.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

You could just make sure you bag was 10kg, then you wouldn't run afoul of either system.

For anyone else wondering. I gave Air France a call. I was informed Elite Plus members get 1 bag up to 23kg free on the basic (no bag) fare.
