Hi all

Is it possible to book Air Canada flights with Qantas points? if so are there fuel surcharges?

I checked a few routes but could see no sign of Air Canada on the booking engine. Also, I had heard that Qantas was entering into an arrangement with Air Canada to codeshare but again have not seen any sign of points redemption for this airline.

Thanks Peter

Or you’ve confused Air Canada with Westjet

Is that likely to change in the near future?
Qantas has a partnership with WestJet. They aren't going to form anything beyond simple interlining (which they have with most airlines) while they maintain a codeshare deal with WestJet.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I never said you couldn't.
OP is asking about Air Canada. I, and others, have stated that Qantas has no partnership with AC, the Canadian airline they partner with is Westjet.

Apologies, I mis-read your message as talking about Westjet only being interline. Sorry for the confusion :)
