I've always wondered how popular the night SYD-KUL flight is, arriving at 0315...

If they sell it for $99 per seat I am sure it will be very popular ...

Cant be that much worse than the MH flight which gets in at 430am to KUL :(

(of course with F lounge access the slumberettes assist if you have a connection ;))

Love this timing. It's a shame someone (Jetstar even) couldn't do something like this ex-SIN.

This would be very difficult for an AU based airline, as you would need to send a plane out from SYD/MEL at 5am. Now, try getting to those airports at 3am...
Although, if they can somehow work out a way to add in a rotation from PER, then the departure from there would only need to be around 7am, which I suppose is more feasible. Still, I'm sure it's not as easy as I make it sounds.

Impossible ex-SYD (curfew), but not impossible ex-MEL. No need to send out at 5am. MEL/SIN 0730/1230, SIN/MEL 14:00/00:30 would work, if you could achieve 90 min turnaround in SIN (0730/1330, 1500/00:30 during winter).
