AFF CDN Issues

The CDN issue is worse for me at the moment. The pages are taking a long time to finish loading. I've usually finished reading the updates to the page long before all the avatars load. I get messages at the bottom of my web browser listing the various CDN sites it is waiting for.

At this stage, the CDN is a work in progress.

We are continuing to evaluate its usefulness for the website and this feedback is invaluable to us in determining if we continue with it. Thank you for continuing to provide it.

Thank you for keeping an eye on things.

The good news is that I can still read the content I want on AFF and use other aspects of the site, even when the page says it is loading. Eventually the webpage stops showing the loading symbol but only some of the avatars have loaded, the rest have the broken image icon.

This is a better result than I had a few months ago with a website called "cloudfront.net". I think this is also a CDN site although I'm not a technical person so I could be wrong. Please don't use "cloudfront.net" as the problems I had a couple of months ago might come back. I'd be loading sites which used "cloudfront.net" and the webpages wouldn't function properly on our ultra secure network during the problems.

This may also be an issue unique to you, thanks to your network unfortunately.

I have loaded AFF on the go on my mobile and at home lately and had no such issues.

The AFF pages are now loading quickly and fully on our network. I noticed the improvement either yesterday or the day before. Before it got better it actually got a lot worse but I could still read the pages so I just put up with the missing avatars.
