Hi all,

Done it before for WOW AGM last year
Need it for ARGO this year on Monday 28th.

Got the link or bus number and can someone post the route please

The Adelaide airport website has all the info you need:

Public transport buses – known as the JetBus service - pick up and drop off from the new bus stop location, left hand side of the plaza as you leave the terrminal. Click here for map.

JetBus services travel to and from the city, Glenelg and the north-eastern suburbs.

All JetBuses are Metroticket services. Single trip and daytrip tickets can be purchased from bus drivers.

Click here to go to the Adelaide Metro website. Look for the J1 and J2 route information.

An airport with decent public transport at the normal price. Are we sure this is in Australia.

Attempted to plan trip and says 112 minutes WTF?
I'm sure it was 20-30mins tops last time?
I need help...depart airport 9:00am to Adelaide Convention centre.
PLEASE HELP

Edit: I rang them told to catch a bus to E3 Curry St and then 700m metre walk if I don't take the tram to the Convention.
Single tickets cheaper than return $3.10 from driver! ;)

Now what to do to kill 6 hours in Adelaide after meeting ahhhhhhh

what date or day do you need to get there - usually catch the J1 bus which will take you to Currie St (about 20 minutes) then you walk to the convention centre - less than 10 minutes - a taxi will only cost you about $20 and the bus will be $5 unless you have a metro card

That's walking backwards on your hands.

20 minutes max!

Something wrong there , it should take around 45 minutes according to the Metro planner .

Not sure who told you the info on bus prices but unless you've got a prepaid metro - it's $5 one way or $9.40 all day - not sure if you have any concessions - if you bought an all day ticket you could catch the tram to Glenelg to kill some time - not sure what you're interested in but there's an excellent Australian Geographic photo exhibition on at the Adelaide museum and that's only a ten minute walk from the convention centre

I questioned the Adelaide transport chick how all day was more expensive than 2 X single fare.
She said off peak rate or seemed frazzled even though I questioned the amounts 3 times!

ah - just checked - between 9.01 and 3pm it's off peak so $3.10 instead of $5 so you should be right

FYI Adelaide Metro data is also loaded into Google Maps, may be easier to look up schedules & trip times there. In short, if you have the time then it makes for an easy and very cheap trip. Bus into city then hop on the Tram (free) or walk.

Got in early need to 901am for cheap bus.... Seen 5 sensational looking women here so far..... No need for lockers as could checkin bag for evening flight ;)

Shocking!!!!!!!!

That is often the experience for this venue. Sometimes its good and sometimes it is really really bad. But before bagging the venue you have to check out what the organisers organised and paid for.

I was there this morning and had good breakfast - it had spent a bit long in the warmer but otherwise fine.
