Hi All,

Seeking suggestions for a group of 20-30 people travelling in October from Perth to Adelaide for a wedding.

Current thinking is booking a 6-7 service apartments in the same complex.

Wedding reception is at the Adelaide Hilton.

Majority of people will be staying for 4-5 nights, so any suggestions or recommendations on where to stay would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What about AirBnB or some other short term rental? If in summer, maybe on the coast. Otherwise North Adelaide or Norwood near The Parade.

We thought about a AirBnB, but by the time you take in the service fee and cleaning cost, they can be more expensive than service apartments.

Plan is to sleep only and dinner in local pubs.

Do you have a budget and does it have to be in the city. There are number of apartment hotels or the Ibis if you want to go really low (but the Ibis is central). If you don't mind staying out of the city look at the apartments at Glenelg. The tram goes from Glenelg to right outside the Hilton.

Glenelg Hotels | Oaks Liberty Towers

Accommodation Glenelg | Hotel Rooms

If you want further out of the city (transport not as good but good bus service)

Holiday Accommodation • West Beach Parks

if you want any further info just let me know

I just got back from Adelaide with a large group of people, easily 30 of us, and we stayed at the Oaks Embassy on North Terrace. We had 4-5 people per room. No issues at all. We've stayed there in previous years as a large group too, it's pretty handy. There's a tram stop right near by, and easy walk to Rundle Mall.

Thanks, Glenelg is a great option. Is food and pubs good in that area?
