Acronyms on JQ Boarding Passes

For anyone who has been wondering.. apparently JLSF refers to Seat Fees.. i.e you've paid for a seat

Doesn't seem to make sense though. I would have JLSF on my plus bundle sometimes, but not other times.

I've been told the same thing, as well as that not all codes applicable will appear on your BP. eg When I checked in today at the automated kiosk the flimsy paper BP had HVC on it, but when it was reprinted after having my seat changed on cardboard stock all other codes where there but HVC wasn't but apparently it was still in the system.

Fairly educated guesses

LEGX, WCEM - Guessing you have paid for a extra legroom emergency exit requiring ID check
BA20 - 20kgs checked baggage allowance
HVC, QFFP - You have status with QF (not that it will mean much) are on a Plus/Max fare and have selected QF points
V05A - Your plus fare gives you A$5 voucher
WCID - You use Web Check-in so ID should be checked

I've assumed on my BP -
LEGX is extra leg room
EXIT is an exit row so "do you agree to help when we crash" question is asked
BA30 is Baggage Allowance 30kg
QFFP I'm assuming is Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (as I have that code but I'm only QF NB)
V05A which I'm now informed is $5 off onboard F&B, I've no idea about what the letters may stand for (A perhaps allowance? VO maybe Very Ordinary?)

Anyone know what the code M003 stands for?

Also JLSF apparently means that you've pre-selected a seat. No idea what the letters actually represent but that's what the check in agent said.

Been a while since this was asked and I haven't seen an answer, but I think MO stands for Meal Ordered and the number is possibly the food number to indicate what was pre-ordered/prepaid.

That is correct. If you ordered 4 meals, you'll have MO01, MO02, etc. all on your bp. Don't ask why or how I know.

I noticed on my recent JQ flights that the full manifest was pasted on the wall of the rear galley. I had a quick look and saw that all codes were listed at the bottom of the manifest. I didn't look closely or take a photo from the benefit of this thread due to privacy issues for other pax, and trying to explain myself if caught.

Experienced this on my recent JQ flights - HVC on online check in print out, but not on the issued BP. I then asked a crew member to check their manifest print out. They advised that HVC was against my name. I didn't go the next step to ask what HVC means in functional terms.

I thought, based on questioning crew on recent flights, that the number referred to the meal option chosen. I had MA02 (only) on one flight and MA01 on the other flight. That second flight also had an MABF which is for breakfast.

I've assumed (quite possibly incorrectly) HVC might stand for "High Value Client" as it seems that code has been mentioned by WPs or higher. I haven't had it (on my extensive experience of two recent flights) but I'm a NB.

Were the meal codes you mentioned on OS flights? I had sort of imagined the MO must be domestic meals and the MAs being OS (Meals Ordered as opposed to Meal Allowance).

And for my next flight, I have TIG, HVC, JLSF, MA01, MALM, QFFP, WCEM... anyone else has 7 or more codes on the bp?

8.....BA30, EXIT, LEGX, MO04, QFFP, V05A, WCID, WCIS

WCIS was the only one I didn't know, which is apparently checked in via SMS.

As for the SMS, there is no indication of these codes, so I wonder how one proves they're owed a meal or has a $5 voucher......

You may have missed a word or two. I know what HVC is suppose to stand for, my unasked question was what it means in functional terms. As in, what are the crew allowed to do for a HVC passenger

I must admit, I was just guessing! In functional terms, it means you get a seat and if you pay, you can get a front row seat in which case you also get a comedy show during boarding!

I must say, I've quite enjoyed the show just recently, but I think it'll wear thin pretty soon!
